My name is Lauren, and I’m a photographer based out of San Diego.

I work primarily with bands, and am currently touring the globe with Being As An Ocean. I also shoot music videos and weddings, and anything else that catches my eye.

This site serves a few purposes:

1. It is essentially my portfolio. You can come here and see projects I’ve finished and am currently working on, as well as all my contact information if you’d like to set up a shoot together.
2. It is my travel journal. When I’m on tour, I’m basically in a different city every night. It can get confusing remembering where I am and what I’ve done. This way I can look back and remember these fun adventures!
3. It is a lifestyle blog. My life is pretty standard : I like baking, makeup, music, and searching yelp for the best places to eat in every city I find myself in. I just also happen to be a female photographer on the road with all men. When I left for my very first tour, I had no idea what to expect, what to pack, what tour is like for a lady, nothing. And I couldn’t find anything on the internet from another girl who’d done it before me. This page is where I will share what I am learning, so that others who’s interest and dreams resemble mine, can get a taste for what this life is like.
4. It is a necessity. My family and friends never know where I am or what I’m doing, so this site is my peace offering to them…let them know that I’m still alive and I’m actually doing pretty cool things 😉
